First Time to this area. We came to Custer for Buffalo Round Up. We knew NOTHING of this area and found Poncho & Lefty's on line. Owner (Pat) reassured me with a phone call! We arrived later than expected but I had called Pat - she & John were so kind to greet us. Accommodations were exactly what we expected and needed. Sincerely appreciated the 'welcome basket' and brochures of the area! Highly recommend you choose this darling spot!
Very quiet, remote setting. An easy drive just west of Custer, SD. It was an incredibly short, easy drive to ALL the Black Hills has to offer. For our short stay, we saw a lot but intend to return. Such beauty in the whole area!
This is NOT a negative report - just an F.Y.I. As the owner suggested, for easiest access, do try to arrive in daylight. When you're not familiar with the area it can be confusing. We had been advised that our GPS might not work, but ours worked PERFECTLY!
